My recent escape to La Siesta in La Maddalena's historical center was a delightfully cozy retreat. The room, although accessed via a few flights of stairs, was a comfortable oasis with a Mexican twist, complete with modern amenities such as air conditioning, satellite TV. The daily Italian breakfast of croissants and cappuccino at a nearby café was a charming way to start the day, providing a taste of local flavors. The vibrant atmosphere of the property added a touch of liveliness to our stay, while the staff, especially Jaime, went above and beyond with their kind and helpful service. From the beautiful view of the harbor from our balcony to the convenient proximity to restaurants, bars, and shops, La Siesta truly encapsulated the essence of Italian coastal living. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a clean and well-maintained space for us to relax after a day of exploring. Despite the lack of an elevator, the comfortable bed and spacious room more than made up for the few extra steps. Cycling around the picturesque town added an extra layer of charm to our experience, allowing us to soak in the local culture and scenery at our own pace. La Siesta provided a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and character, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of La Maddalena.
